Outdoor Education is an integral part of the curriculum at Victory Park. It supports and enhances pupils’ transferable skills such as; teamwork, confidence, communication, problem solving, listening and leadership. It also supports our pupils’ gross motor skills and helps to support pupils with sensory processing needs.

All pupils will have an opportunity to take part in Outdoor Education, although it is a compulsory part of the curriculum for all LEAP and STAG pupils.

The activities are changed every half term to ensure that pupil engagement is retained, and pupils’ interests are taken into account. Pupils may be required to bring in a change of clothes for certain activities. All External trips and visits are vigorously risk assessed beforehand.

The current plan is as follows; however we adapt constantly according to our pupils’ needs, and sometimes the weather!
