The Role:

To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.  This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/small groups and monitoring students, recording and reporting on achievement, progress and development. Responsible for the management and development of a specialist area within the Academy.The LSA will work alongside teaching staff to deliver tailored support, ensuring that students are engaged, motivated, and able to access the curriculum in a way that meets their individual learning needs. The role requires a flexible, patient, and proactive approach, providing both academic and emotional support to ensure students are given every opportunity to succeed and thrive.

Salary: Level 5 point 8 £25,992 - £27,711 pro rata
