Verbo interventions are bespoke Speaking and Listening session that are planned to support students’ speech, language and communication skills within the classroom.

Staff are working closely with the Speech and Language service to implement personalised targeted internets.

The sessions can include the following techniques:

Articulation therapy: Used to improve pronunciation and speech clarity.

Language intervention activities: These help improve communication and vocabulary.

Games: Useful for practicing new vocabulary and encouraging conversation.

Therapist-directed approaches: Techniques where the therapist guides the intervention.

Child-centered approaches: Focused on the child's interests and needs.

Resources are made within the sessions to support prompt and transfer skills back the classroom.
